The children undergoing thalassemia treatment at the thalassemia clinic run by Indian Red Cross Society, Pune, see the images of paintings by children and young adults on the screen at the clinic. These images of beautiful paintings are by the shortlisted children and young adults from various Khula Aasmaan art contests. This is part of the art project by Art India Foundation which also involves making available art supplies to the children undergoing thalassemia treatment, so that they can paint while at the clinic.
During the month of October 2022, the children undergoing thalassemia treatment at the thalassemia clinic painted on several subjects such as Indian Air Force planes with coloured smoke (tricolour), lotus, water bottle, Mt. Everest, moon, school girl, nature, flowers, Ganesha, Indian flag, pencil portrait, Red Cross symbol and calligraphy.
