Art India Foundation has been working on an art project jointly with the thalassemia clinic run by Indian Red Cross Society, for children undergoing thalassemia treatment. While they are at the clinic, the children see the images of artworks created by children and young adults. These images are screened for them at the display kept at the thalassemia clinic. We have arranged for art supplies to be kept at the clinic which are made available to the children for drawing and painting. It is heartening to see many children and young adults engage in drawing and painting while they are at the clinic.
During this month, the children undergoing thalassemia treatment engaged in creating diverse artworks on topics such as nature, waterfall, Christmas tree, girl with balloons, blood donation, teddy bear, tiranga (Indian flag), princess, vase with plant, Say No to Plastic, peacock, Gautam Buddha, temple and more.
