Thalassemia clinic at Indian Red Cross Society Pune
Indian Red Cross Society Pune runs a thalassemia clinic which caters primarily to children and young adults who have this condition. This clinic has been functioning since 2009 and provides a blood transfusion facility to treat thalassemia patients completely free of charge.

We have organised art supplies such as papers, pencils and colours at the thalassemia clinic so that the children and young adults who undergo treatment are able to draw and paint.

Art India Foundation has arranged to display images of shortlisted and medal winning artworks by children and young adults at the thalassemia clinic. This will inspire the children and young adults who undergo treatment for thalassemia at the clinic run by the Indian Red Cross Society.
